Job Description
Join us in building the next generation of cloud-based SaaS platforms for a global leader in contact center software. As a Junior Java Engineer, you will work with a team of experienced engineers to develop, test, and support Java-based microservices using Spring Boot. This role is ideal for someone looking to strengthen their software development skills in a cloud environment while contributing to production-ready systems.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot.
– Assist in designing and implementing scalable and reliable features.
– Troubleshoot and provide support for existing services under guidance from senior engineers.
– Collaborate with product managers, QA, and peers to deliver high-quality software.
– Learn and apply best practices for cloud-based application development.
Requirements / Qualifications:
– 1+ years of experience in Java development using Spring Boot.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
– Basic understanding of microservices architecture.
– Familiarity with cloud concepts is a plus (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
– Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
– General understanding of version control (Git).
Nice to Have:
– Exposure to Docker or containerized environments.
– Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
– Familiarity with cloud services (Google BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, etc.).
