Job Overview

As an Analyst at IQVIA, you will be responsible for handling commercial analytics projects, specifically marketing mix, forecasting, segmentation & decision tree, customer, and brand performance analytics projects with proficiency in Python, R and SAS.

Responsibilities

– Handle commercial analytics projects including marketing mix, forecasting, segmentation & decision tree, customer, and brand performance analytics
– Work across projects such as promotional return (ROI analysis), Resource and price optimization analysis, Physician / patient profiling
– Develop a good understanding of consumer offerings, proprietary databases, and analytical approaches to effectively guide and support client-facing stakeholders across globe mainly in Europe and US
– Handle small and large datasets on projects efficiently and figure out the right technology for processing the data (e.g. Excel, SAS, Python etc.)
– Be a champion on analytics technologies within the team
– Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in business point of view
– Work in a team and coordinate with team members in performing QC for the delivery of projects with tight turnaround time
– Perform advanced analytics analyses such as Hierarchical model, Bayesian Hierarchical model, Linear & Non-Linear Optimization Techniques, RNN, CNN etc.

Requirements / Qualifications

– Relevant Educational Certification / Degree in related field (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent)
– Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
– Proficiency in SAS, R, Python (mandatory)
– Experience with data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI (preferred)
– Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
– Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction, and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline
– Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques related to functional area
– Knowledge of current events and developments within an industry and major competitors
– Effective time management skills
