Job Description

As a Graduate Apprentice Trainee at Volvo Group’s Trucks Technology & Industrial Division, you will work with next-gen technologies and sharp, collaborative teams, supporting the design and delivery of digital solutions using analytics and automation tools for business and operational use.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and delivery of digital solutions using analytics and automation tools for business and operational use
  • Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple systems to solve ambiguous business problems
  • Build business-ready dashboards, reports, and visualizations that help stakeholders understand trends, exceptions, risks, and performance
  • Help identify insights using data analysis, automation, and advanced analytics thinking, including opportunities related to ML, AI, and big data where relevant
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support change requests in IT systems, and participate in testing and validation activities after deployment
  • Translate business needs into simple, clear analytical outputs and support adoption of new tools and ways of working

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong fundamentals in SQL, Python, AI/ML, and Power Automation
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools, especially Power BI and preferably Qlik
  • Strong capabilities in data analysis and data science fundamentals
  • Street-smart and practical in understanding business problems
  • Highly agile and comfortable with changing priorities
  • Transparent and clear in communication
  • A deep critical thinker who questions data, logic, and assumptions
  • Proactive and ready to take ownership early
  • Curious about how customs, trade, logistics, and operations work
