Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock cover at each location, ensuring minimum distribution costs, and liaising with internal stakeholders across the supply chain lifecycle to execute necessary changes and communicate effectively with internal key stakeholders and support business needs. Additionally, the incumbent will need to be flexible to work in shifts.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Fuel Distribution Planning
– Ensure precise, cost-effective fuel supply planning and lowest unit cost delivered for the trucks planned.
– Planning indicator summarization, analyses, and reporting.
– Fulfil operational goals and objectives to achieve optimal fleet planning metrics (HSE, load size, drop size, productivity, P&L, etc.)
– Liaise with supply/sourcing, operations, and BU fuel team and execute actions to ensure an efficient value chain.
– Handle calls and address operational issues during shift.
– Liaise with other units in the company to gain planning improvements.
– Support improvement projects or new systems implementations as needed.
– Take a proactive approach to suggest solutions to customer complaints.

Operational Excellence
– Monitor activities within fuel stations to ensure sufficient inventory levels.
– Ensure ownership of HSSE targets and compliance within distribution together with operations managers.
– Ensure efficient fleet planning performance metrics (drop size, load size, productivity, etc.)

Stakeholder Management
– Proactively recommend multiple approaches along with their pros and cons to business stakeholders and support making the right decisions.
– Collaborate closely with colleagues inside and outside Global Fuels and Circle K to drive business results.
– 24/7 operations; shift work is required to cover all times of operations.

Education:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
– Strong mathematical and analytical skills evident in education

Relevant Experience:
– 1-2 years minimum relevant experience in logistics and operations planning
– Fluency in English, both written and oral
