Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented MERN Stack Intern to join our development team. You will be responsible for developing features across the entire stack, from designing MongoDB schemas to creating responsive React components. This role is highly practical, focusing on delivering tangible, functional software.

Responsibilities:

– Design, implement, and maintain MongoDB schemas for critical business models (e.g., Products, Customers, Invoices).

– Develop robust RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express for all CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations.

– Implement secure User Authentication (JWT) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) logic for different user roles (Admin, Supervisor).

– Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React.

– Build complex UI features such as the Sales/Invoice Creation interface, including dynamic calculations (discount, totals).

– Create and integrate interactive Dashboard components (cards and charts) for data visualisation.

– Manage application state efficiently.

– Collaborate with senior developers and follow best practices for clean, scalable code.

– Use Git for version control and source code management.

Requirements:

– Solid understanding of the MERN Stack: MongoDB (Experience with aggregation and schema design/Mongoose), Express.js (API routing, middleware), React (Component lifecycle, Hooks, State management), Node.js (Asynchronous programming).

– Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).

– Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs.

– Experience with basic HTML5 and CSS3/CSS Frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap, Material UI).

– Working knowledge of Git and GitHub/GitLab.
