We’re looking for a Data Analyst Intern who is curious, detail-oriented, and excited about learning how data can shape real-world decisions. You’ll collaborate with experienced analysts across departments to explore large datasets, build visualizations, and help create reports that highlight opportunities and drive smarter strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
– Work with cross-functional teams to collect, clean, and organize large datasets.
– Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and insights that support business decisions.
– Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key metrics and performance indicators.
– Assist in developing data pipelines and integrating data from multiple sources, including APIs.
– Support in applying statistical methods and data-driven techniques to solve real business problems.
– Handle ad hoc data requests by exploring available datasets and applying the right analytical techniques.
– Collaborate with multiple teams to present findings in a clear, structured way to both technical and business audiences.
– Stay up to date with the latest AI tools and industry trends, experimenting with ways they can improve analysis and reporting.
Must-Have Qualifications:
– Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
– Strong problem-solving skills and solid foundation in data analysis techniques and statistical concepts.
– Hands-on experience with SQL and at least one programming language for data analysis (Python preferred).
– Basic understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase.
– Ability to work with large datasets including collecting, cleaning, and organizing data for analysis.
– Familiarity with APIs and interest in leveraging AI tools.
– Effective communication skills to clearly present ideas and insights to technical and leadership teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Prior internship or project experience working with real-world datasets.
– Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets for quick data manipulation and reporting.
– Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for data storage and analytics.
– Experience building dashboards or interactive reports using BI tools.
– Exposure to API integrations and automation workflows.
– Creative mindset for data visualization and data storytelling.
– Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
