Data Analyst Project Intern (Training & Quality) – ByteDance, Gurgaon

Our Operations team moderates millions of videos globally every day, ensuring we bring only safe content to our users. Workflow Management builds and optimises moderation business processes, monitoring performance, and continuously looks for areas to improve efficiency and maintain high standards of safety. As a project intern, you will engage in impactful short-term projects that provide a glimpse of professional real-world experience, gaining practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
– Responsible for timely reporting for the responsible business line
– Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to the management team
– Develop a strong MIS framework to allow for smooth functioning of operations
– Prepare reports based on analysis and present to management
– Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques
– Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
– Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases
– Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

Minimum Qualifications:
– Proficient in data analysis and interpretation
– Advanced proficiency in Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel, including building and using complex formulas
– Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience creating impactful reports, dashboards, and insights on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
– Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
