Job Description

As a data analyst intern, you will be an integral part of an organisation’s data team, responsible for analysing and interpreting various datasets to derive meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Build and optimize data models for analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into engineering solutions and prepare datasets for BI tools (Power BI).
  • Perform data validation, collection, and cleaning.
  • Support the analysis of trends and patterns.
  • Create visualizations and dashboards.
  • Document analysis processes and methodologies.
  • Participate in meetings to provide data-driven insights.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, AI/ML; or enrollment in a Bachelor’s/Master’s program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 70% or 7 CGPA aggregate in current degree.
  • No active backlogs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Willingness to work on-site at GE HealthCare premises.

Skills Required

  • Programming: Python, R
  • Tools/Platforms: Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI
  • Other: Data Visualization, Statistical Analysis, Attention to Detail, Critical Thinking
  • Good to have: Experience with Machine Learning on time-series data
