The Society for Engineering Education India (SEE-India) is gearing up for an exciting event that promises to bring together some of the brightest minds in the field of engineering education. With the seminar on “Future Engineering Education” scheduled for April 29 at the Guntur Medical College auditorium, attendees can look forward to an informative and engaging program. The seminar will feature presentations and discussions on the latest trends and innovations in engineering education, and will be a valuable opportunity for professionals in the field to network and exchange ideas.

One of the highlights of the event will be the presentation of the Life-time Achievement Award to V. Ramgopal Rao, a renowned figure in the field of engineering education. As the current Vice-Chancellor of BITS-Pilani and former Director of IIT Delhi, Rao has made significant contributions to the advancement of engineering education in India and beyond. The award is a well-deserved recognition of his lifetime of achievements and his commitment to excellence in engineering education.

In addition to the Life-time Achievement Award, SEE-India is also accepting nominations for a range of other awards, including the prestigious Mekapati Gowtham Reddy Award for Engineering Educators. Institutions and individual educators are encouraged to submit nominations for the various categories of awards, which include institutional awards, international awards, national awards, and alumni awards. The deadline for nominations is April 8, 2023, and each nomination must be accompanied by a registration for the seminar.
