Trainee Test Engineer
About the Job
A trainee test engineer should have in-depth knowledge about various testing types and methodologies. The candidate would be required to understand and prepare test documents.
Skill(s) required & Responsibilities
- Sound knowledge in various testing methodologies and types
- Understand the assigned module/product thoroughly
- Testing all aspects of the product like function, system, performance, regression
- Test cases execution and timely reporting of bugs
- Bug reporting and tracking
- Accurate time accounting and reporting of own work
- Quality, on time delivery of agreed deliverables
- Contribute to the company knowledge base and process improvements
- Maintain high team morale
Who can apply
- Freshers from BCA, B.E/B.Tech, B.Sc.
- Certification in Software Testing (Mandatory)
- ISTQB certification (Preferred)
- An aggregate % from high school to university education should have at least 60% maintained throughout
Responsibilities
- Adhere to company and project standards and guidelines
- Installing test environments in preparation for test cycles
- Preparation of testing documents
- Ensuring all documentation conforms to the Quality System Procedures
- Conducting tasks as directed by the Team Leader
