Six NIT Jamshedpur Students Secure Incredible Rs 83 Lakh Job Offers

Jamshedpur’s National Institute of Technology (NIT) is basking in the glow of a historic achievement during its latest placement season. An astounding milestone was reached as six brilliant students clinched substantial annual packages of Rs 83 lakh each, an offer generously presented by Atlassian, the renowned multinational IT company headquartered in Australia. What makes this feat even more remarkable is the diverse representation among the beneficiaries, with three students hailing from the Computer Science branch and an equal number from the Electrical Engineering branch. The six exceptional individuals have already sealed the deal and are eagerly preparing to embark on their exciting journeys with the company.

The remarkable achievers who etched their names in the annals of NIT Jamshedpur history are Adarsh Kashyap, Tanya Singh, and Arpit Kumar, representing the Computer Science branch, and Shubham Kumar, Apoorva Singh, and Rahul Pandey, who shone in the Electrical Engineering domain. This incredible milestone builds upon the success of the previous year when a similar Rs 83 lakh package was offered, albeit to only one fortunate student.

NIT’s esteemed Director, Prof. Gautam Sutradhar, along with the dedicated placement cell in-charge, Professor AK Choudhary, exude a sense of pride and accomplishment as they reflect on the institute’s inaugural highest package record. The placement season has been a resounding success overall, with a total of 663 B.Tech students securing 919 job offers, and an impressive 64.43% of postgraduate students finding their desired placements. The institute remains actively involved in the ongoing placement endeavours for the forthcoming 2023-24 academic session, where they hope to continue their legacy of excellence and accomplishment.
