  • The Associate Technical Engineer is an entry-level technical role within the A2 region Engineering Competency Centre- Fire Protection, focused on learning and contributing to the design and execution Engineering Judgement solutions in EPC environments. The ATE supports engineering activities under the guidance of senior engineers and technical leads, participating in key stages of the project lifecycle including design, coordination, and documentation.
  • The ATE will be involved in supporting low-complexity or standardized applications across sectors such as Industry (e.g., Manufacturing, Data Centers, Automation), Civil Infrastructure (e.g., Railways, Metros, Airports), and Commercial Buildings (e.g., Hospitals, Offices, Residential).
  • The role is designed to build foundational engineering skills in passive fire protection design, construction documentation, and the use of industry tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, while ensuring safety, code compliance, and cost-effectiveness in all technical outputs.

What You’ll do

  • Develop basic product and application knowledge of all Hilti Fire Protection solutions.
  • Assist in understanding and applying execution-related product lines in passive fire protection in engineering support tasks.
  • Support the preparation of engineering judgements, Autocad drawings and documentation under the guidance of senior engineers or modelers using tools like AutoCAD.
  • Participate in design coordination and review sessions as an observer or note-taker, gradually contributing to discussions with supervision.
  • Follow ECC workflows and documentation standards, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately, and updates are tracked.
  • Learn to interpret and apply relevant sections of codes, standards, and project/client specifications in assigned tasks.
  • Maintain organized records of assigned tasks, inputs, and deliverables to support traceability and quality control.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, mentoring discussions, and feedback meetings to improve technical and professional skills.
  • Perform other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Engineer or Team Leader.

What You’ll Bring

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Fire Engineering from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutions.
  • 0–1 year of professional experience (internships, academic projects, or industrial training preferred).
  • Strong academic background in structural fundamentals, engineering mechanics, and design.
