JNTUA provides 40% course credits for AI and ML studies from reputable certifiers, says Vice-Chancellor

On Thursday, two dozens of Octagenerians, together with their family members, gathered on the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur campus to assist students in finding the proper edge to flourish in professional careers.

The 1958-63 batch of Anantapur University College of Engineering, some noted technocrats and engineers who had served the society and demitted office two decades ago, came together on the second day of their three-day gathering to celebrate their Diamond Jubilee on Electrical and Electronic Engineering seminar hall and shared tips with the faculty and students.

Former Vice-Chancellor of VTU, Karnataka, and JNTUA graduate K. Bala Veera Reddy, said that alumni should serve as brand ambassadors for the institution. “We shall do our part to promote the university’s reputation and undertake development activities,” stated Alumni Association president Sankar Reddy.

Another alumni, Balakrishna Murthy, spoke on the campus’s use of Japanese technology.

JNTUA Vice-Chancellor G. Ranga Janardhana stated that 40% of course credits earned in AI and ML courses from reputable certifiers were transferred as course credits to students from mechanical, civil, and any other stream of engineering, despite the fact that it was offered directly as part of the curriculum.
