Notably, the opening and closing ranks for the first round of admissions to the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering program at NIT Sikkim offer insight into the evolving admission landscape.
In 2023, the NIT Sikkim cut-off for open seats in the other state category witnessed a noteworthy drop, plummeting from 11,758 in 2022 to 17,223. This decline, while intriguing, reflects the ever-shifting dynamics of student preferences and performance. Simultaneously, the opening rank for home state category seats in the open category exhibited a remarkable shift from 45,949 in 2022 to 78,672 in 2023. These changes underline the competitive nature of admissions, where securing a seat at this prestigious institution demands vigilance and adaptability.
