On Wednesday, the Dhanekula Institute of Engineering & Technology near Ganguru of Krishna district witnessed the inauguration of the Drone Research & Development Centre by Governor S Abdul Nazeer. During his speech, the Governor expressed his confidence that India will become a leading global drone hub by 2030, thanks to the country’s remarkable progress in fields such as electric vehicle manufacturing, digitization, and artificial intelligence.

He lauded the efforts of the college in establishing the centre in collaboration with Dronix Engineering Ltd, Israel.
As part of the event, the Governor presented medals to outstanding students of the college, commending them for their academic achievements. Justice Jasti Chalameswar, former Judge of the Supreme Court, graced the occasion as the guest of honour.
