Test Engineer - PCBA
About the internship
Collaborate with EMS testing team for tester readiness and docs review – Spares, Equipment SOP, Process Definition (PFC), Control Plan, EFMEA, NPI Builds, PPAP, Yield reports.
Skill(s) required
● Knowledge in PCBA manufacturing process, SMT , Wave soldering & Box build
● Knowledge in Electronics components packages, SMD & Through holes
● Good understanding of defects in PCBA manufacturing and able to do visual inspection of PCBAs
● Understanding of product Yield Calculations
● NPI build support and report preparation
● Good understanding on assembly equipments, torque driver, potting, jigs/fixtures
Cross-functional Responsibilities:
● Thorough understanding of protocols like CAN, I2C, LIN, UDS etc
● Work with Customer Testing team and EMS Testing team to maximise the Test efficiency

Other Requirements
● Test execution and analysis as per the test plan, do defect reporting for Embedded(VCU, ), Analog(BMS) & Power(PDU, Charger) PCBA, Box Builds Assemblies produced at EMS
● Accountable for installation and training of testers including ICTs, FPTs, FCTs, EOLs (Automated Test Equipment – ATE) as per test requirement
● Coordinate & align with Customer Test Engg at Design Center to maintain the correct hardware and software configuration of PCBA, Box Build assemblies in accordance with Customer Test FW release standards to ensure smooth testing processes
● Responsible for meeting cycle time, yield and productivity targets
