About the Job
As a Technical Marketing Engineer at Thales Group, you’ll bridge the gap between engineering and customers, showcasing the value of cutting-edge data security products. This dynamic role involves crafting product demonstrations, delivering technical presentations, conducting training sessions, and collaborating across teams to enhance product awareness and adoption.
You’ll also manage beta programs, address technical inquiries, and represent Thales at trade shows and customer visits, ensuring a seamless integration of technical expertise with customer engagement.
Skill(s) required
Mandatory
- Strong technical knowledge of data security products and integration workflows with tools like Splunk or ServiceNow.
- Proven expertise in creating product demonstrations, white papers, and technical presentations.
- Experience in conducting technical training sessions and managing beta programs.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with system requirements, scalability, and performance optimizations.
- Ability to conduct competitive analyses and update marketing collateral.
- Hands-on experience with customer engagement at trade shows or conferences.

Other Requirements
Experience in Data Security Products: Prior experience working with data security technologies, including encryption, secure communication protocols, and data protection tools.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve challenges and ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaboration Skills: Experience in cross-functional collaboration, especially with product management, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to drive product success and customer engagement.
Customer-Facing Experience: Prior experience interacting with customers, ideally in a pre-sales or technical support role, to provide expert-level guidance and support.
Technical Proficiency in Integration Tools: Familiarity with integration platforms and tools such as Splunk, Bigpanda, ServiceNow, and their use in a security or data protection context.
