System Installation Engineer
About the Job
Airbus is looking for a System Installation Engineer to join its team in Bangalore. The role involves concept studies, trade-off analysis, and system installation improvements to optimize weight, cost, and lead time. The engineer will collaborate with Airframe, Systems, and Cabin sub-domains, contributing to industrialization, standardization, and digital transformation initiatives. The position requires knowledge of aircraft build processes, manufacturing principles, and system installations like electrical, landing gear, etc. The candidate will also be responsible for process improvement and digitization efforts, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies.
Skill(s) required
Mandatory:
- Strong understanding of aircraft build processes, system installation, and industrialization principles.
- Experience with production management and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of aircraft systems like electrical and landing gear.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Catia V5, DMU, and modeling tools.
- Basic programming skills in Python, VB scripting, and data analytics.
- Exposure to digitization and process automation.
