These machines fulfill two primary objectives, increasing the output and decreasing the need for manual labor. They do so by carrying out certain operations more regularly. However, the new technology in agriculture which is Artificial Intelligence Algorithms and precise farming has opened new dimensions in farming. Artificial intelligence tracks soil nutrients by precisely controlling the amount of water supplied to each plant or section of the field. These attributes provided by such sensors help sustain a healthy crop. Thus, it is enabling farmers to use water, fertilizers, and pesticides more efficiently.

Applications of Robotics

Weed Management: Unlike the usual practice whereby crops are indiscriminately treated with herbicides, robots fitted with vision systems can recognize weed and aim at it without any effect on the crops. As a result, chemical herbicides are minimized and also further encourages organic farming.

Management of irrigation: These robotic devices observe soil moisture levels using sensors and drones, applying water only to areas that need it. This conservation technique preserves water resources. It also enhances the growth of crops without application of excess water. Wonderfully it wears off the wedging effect associated excessive watering.

Drones in Agriculture: This robotic machine has advanced sensors and can give a perspective view of your farm to detect any problems before they worsen. Also, agricultural drones do help in spraying fertilizers or pesticides in large areas in an effective manner which saves time and cost.

Soil Care: Drones evaluate the properties of the soil. They make corrections to it through measures such as, for example, tilling or leveling it. This improves the condition of the soil and readies it for planting, hence promoting eco-friendly agriculture.

Cost efficiency: The integration of robots in place of manual work lessens the dependency on bulk seasonal workforces. This way, it not only addresses the issues of supply of labor but also reduces the expenditures on labor that in turn bodes well for the farmers in the long-run.
