About the Job

Currently seeking a Quality Inspector, who has the same desire to prove that industry can do it!

Skill(s) required

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Fabrication & machining)
  • Knowledge of WPS, PQR and NDT testing procedure
  • Knowledge of surface preparation & Painting
  • Knowledge of machining symbols
  • Knowledge about materials & standards

Who can apply

  • Btech/BE in Electronics and communication or Computer Science with no backlogs
  • Min 70% score during completion of the course
  • To be fluent in English – Write, Speak and Talk
  • Spoken Hindi must

Other Requirements

Your role will be:

  • Study Technical drawings/specifications and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies
  • Select product/sample and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
  • Use measuring & testing instruments/machines to perform inspection & testing
  • Inspect & approve or reject raw materials/finished products/equipment with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance
  • Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics.
  • Monitor the Calibration of instrument and if they are well-maintained and discard any that doesn’t meet requirements
  • Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager
  • Take up new vendor registration, shop assessment and quality rating for existing vendors as a continuous process
  • Prepare Quality and Test Plan, Non-Conformance reports
  • Coordinate with vendors, Colleagues and clients/Consultants on QA/QC matters
