About the Job
The Project Delivery Engineer at Pro5.ai will be responsible for implementing SCADA systems for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and storage sites. This role involves deploying software, configuring systems, managing data acquisition, and ensuring SCADA functionality while collaborating with internal teams and external clients. The position requires hands-on work with industrial communication protocols, troubleshooting project delivery issues, and optimizing processes.
The role offers opportunities to work in a multinational environment, with a focus on driving project success and continuous improvement. Domestic and international travel is required for this role.
Skill(s) required
a) Mandatory:
- Proficiency in industrial data communication protocols (e.g., Modbus RTU/TCP, OPCUA/DA, IEC60870-104).
- Basic knowledge of Linux OS commands and MySQL database commands.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
b) Good to Have:
- Experience in renewable energy SCADA system delivery (Wind, Solar, BESS).
- Familiarity with SCADA system network architecture and devices (switches, firewalls, etc.).
- Knowledge of PC software tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Other Requirements

- Ability to work within a multinational corporation, coordinate across different time zones, and maintain smooth communication with global teams.
- Candidates with 3–5 years of work experience and demonstrated career stability are preferred.
- Reporting line to the head of the Project Delivery Department based in Shanghai, with collaboration across teams in China, Singapore, and India.
- Start date: December 2025, with flexibility in budget based on candidate suitability.
- Work hours focused on coordinating project progress with Indian and global teams.
- Holidays aligned with Indian labor laws.
