Process Engineer
About the Job
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer to design tooling and develop processes for mono and co-extrusion plastic profiles, tubes, and secondary fabrication. The role involves hands-on work with tooling development, working closely with production, maintenance, and quality control teams to optimize processes and ensure high-quality standards. The engineer will also manage tooling activities, coordinate with vendors, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and improve efficiency. The position allows for career growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Skill(s) required
a) Mandatory:
- Experience in plastic manufacturing, particularly in plastic extrusion die design and process development.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD/CAM software for tooling and process design.
- Solid understanding of plastic resins and various processing techniques.
b) Good to Have:
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
- Familiarity with tool-making activities and vendor management.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams, such as production and maintenance.
