Intern - Platform Solutions Management
About the Internship
Join their dynamic and innovative team of Platform Solutions Management professionals who specialize in platform resource planning, service management and product analytics which supports the strategy to maximize Fleets’ revenue capture capabilities and deliver a superior customer experience. You will play a vital role in planning platform resource allocation, product service analytics and proactive monitoring to support the growth of Intelsat’s managed product line and its strategic priorities.
You will collaborate with Product development, Asset Management, Operation and Engineering teams to improve operational efficiency and increase the platform revenue.
Skill(s) required
- Computer literacy with MS Office Suite, particulaory MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment which includes working on cross-functional teams and demonstrating the flexibility to assume lead or support roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to take lead and manage work in an efficient manner
- Effective interpersonal skills and well developed communication and skills (oral, written, listening)
- Effectively able to manage competing priorities and handle multiple projects independently
It would be nice if you had:
- Knowledge of Satellite Communication
- Data science knowledge
Who can apply
- Studying for Masters Degree in Communications or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent degree

Other Requirements
- Help the team to plan and maintain Intelsat’s managed services platform resources to deliver on the strategy to maximize yield while maintaining a world-class customer experience
- Support the team with link budget analyses, data analyses and day to day administrative activities to improve the overall efficiency
- Help the team to support new product initiatives and develop processes/ tools and team capabilities by collaborating with Product Development teams to support their planning and resource management
- Support the team to facilitate data analyses on Data lake management, Data quality assurance and business intelligence data ingest by empowering business decisions
- Support data capture/report generation and analyses of commercial and technical dashboards required for Intelsat’s managed Services to meet Intelsat’s business needs
