Downfall of JEE

Ever since the JEE was introduced as an alternative to AIEEE in the year 2002, it brought in a sense of negative competition among most teenagers. The competition grew stronger and stronger as years went by. Every year the Question papers were set by particular IIT professors. Their technical knowledge became a testimony when questions were reflected in the exams. This tested the deep understanding and conceptual knowledge of the students at a very young age. Perhaps, that is why JEE is also coined to be one of the world’s toughest exams. As the pattern of marking kept changing over the years, the competition grew no bounds. The word ‘downfall’ was just to describe how competitive it has turned out for students aspiring to get into core Engineering.
In today’s era, every single student who aims to take up an engineering college first undergoes preparation for the JEE exams. It has now become a jigar that a clear understanding of JEE concepts can at least fetch a top private college if not IITs or NITs.
So if our attempts get to no man’s land we always find alternative ways to reach our milestones. In the next few lines, let us look at some of the actions that can be taken immediately after the depressing results of JEE.

Mental Preparation

First, get out there and look at your journey so far. You will only be able to remember the hard work put in to clear the exams. Although the result turns bitter, chin up and cherish the consistency and dedication you invested in a particular thing for years.
Secondly, be proud of the marks you earned without any unfair means. It is indeed a reflector of the time invested by you. Understand that there are people who are more dedicated and they were successful.
Third, try to understand why you wanted to clear the exam. If it was due to societal pressure or if you chose for your own self-growth. If you are clearly able to understand the reason you will also understand the reason for your failure.
Lastly, learn to accept failures and start finding alternative pathways to glory. It can either be deviating completely off the field or finding shortcut routes.
Let us now understand, the possible ways we can still get admission in a reputed college and the criteria involved.
