About the Job
To provide expertise in below specific areas of the manufacturing process to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective manufacture of product.
JOB DUTIES:
- Create process plan for Powertrain / Foundry / Engine NPI & CPI models with minimum input.
- Creation of CAPP+, VPPA.
- Creation of a SWES, Build Books (Visual Aids), Torque analysis,
- Perform Time study, Video Analysis, Line balancing.
- Virtual validation, audit, tooling, ergonomics & etc.
- Create Manufacturing Bill of Materials for NPI & CPI based on product configuration.
- Understand the Plant Layout & Assembly Process Sequence.
- Conduct torque audits using engineering specs & drawings.
- Contribute process improvements and execution to CAT quality system.
Skill(s) required
- Product & Process Knowledge – Powertrain / Engine / Foundry
- Assembly Process Planning Best Practices -Hands on Knowledge on NPI & CPI
- Expert knowledge in CAPP+, VPPA
- Expert knowledge in VME, MBOM, Build Books & SWES
Who can apply
- Btech/BE in Electronics and communication or Computer Science
- Min 70% score during completion of the course
Other Requirements
- High level of interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different groups
- Knowledge on MES, PLM, PRWB & CAT engineering data systems
- Awareness of NPI, NTI and CPI processes
