Job Description

Upcoming Engineer is a fast-growing platform focused on empowering engineers and fostering a thriving online community. As a Community Manager Intern, you’ll play a vital role in building and engaging our community of engineers, helping them connect, learn, and grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Community Growth: Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain engineers on our platform. This may involve social media outreach, collaborating with universities and engineering organizations, or creating targeted content.
  • Engagement & Content: Plan and execute engaging activities and events for the community, such as online discussions, hackathons, or AMAs (Ask Me Anything) with industry leaders. You’ll also curate content relevant to engineers’ needs and interests.
  • Communication & Moderation: Be the voice of Upcoming Engineer within the community. This includes responding to member inquiries, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, and moderating online discussions.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Track key metrics to measure the success of your initiatives and report your findings to the Community Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Passionate about the engineering field and online communities
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Proficient in social media platforms and community management tools
  • Experience with data analysis a plus
