EY’s Consulting practice provides differentiated focus on key business themes to help clients solve better questions around technology. The vision is to be recognized as a leading provider of differentiated technology consulting services, harnessing new disruptive technology, alliances and attracting talented people to solve clients’ issues.

This internship is part of the Insurance Transformation practice. The current changing macroeconomic trends continue to challenge Insurers globally. However, with disruptive technologies including IoT, autonomous vehicles, and Blockchain, EY helps companies through these challenges and creates innovative strategies to transform their business through technology-enabled transformation programs. EY provides end-to-end services to Global P&C (General), Life and Health Insurers, Reinsurers and Insurance brokers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work within the Insurance Transformation consulting practice to deliver technology-enabled solutions.
• Assist in designing and developing software solutions for insurance clients.
• Support development using programming languages such as Java, .Net, or Python.
• Work with databases such as SQL, Oracle, or Teradata.
• Contribute to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) across various project phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies including IoT, Blockchain, Cloud, AI/ML.
• Apply Agile methodologies and multi-task effectively within team environments.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Technical Skills:
• Understanding and/or experience of software development best practices and SDLC.
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages: Java, .Net, or Python.
• Experience with data analytics or databases: SQL, Oracle, or Teradata.
• Internship in a relevant technology domain will be an added advantage.

QUALIFICATION

• BE / B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, or Circuit branches (Electronics, ECE, EEE, etc.).
• Should have secured 60% and above in academics.
• No active backlogs.
