About the Job
They are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Production Engineer to join our team. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing operations.
Skill(s) required
- Good technical aptitude and communication skills
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in English Multilingual is preferable
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Good presentation skills
- Should be able to travel for business purposes
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, machining, and fabrication
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools
- Experience with CAD software is a plus
- Should have knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Excel, Statistical Analysis Software, and Supply Chain Management Software

Other Requirements
- Assist in the development, implementation, and optimization of production processes to meet quality, cost, and efficiency targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
- Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis to optimize production line performance
- Assist in the design and implementation of equipment modifications or upgrades to improve productivity and reduce downtime
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues to minimize disruptions and maintain continuous operation
- Support production personnel in resolving technical issues and providing training on new processes or equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the production environment
- Generate and maintain production documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, providing input on manufacturability and process optimization
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in production engineering techniques
