About the Job

Visteon is hiring a Hardware Design Engineer to work on cutting-edge automotive embedded hardware solutions. The role involves designing and developing circuit schematics for automotive products such as display controls, instrument clusters, and in-vehicle entertainment systems. Responsibilities include power supply design, microcontroller interfacing, and ensuring compliance with automotive EMC standards. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative, cost-effective, and high-performance automotive solutions.

Skill(s) required

a) Mandatory:

  • Strong understanding of automotive embedded hardware design and power supply circuits.
  • Experience with analog/digital interfacing and communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet.
  • Knowledge of automotive EMC requirements and PCB-level thermal design considerations.

b) Good to Have:

  • Experience with TFT displays, touch controllers, and image correction controllers.
  • Hands-on experience with microcontroller interfacing, DDR, and Flash memory integration.
  • Familiarity with worst-case analysis and designing EMC test simulators.
