What Is Build for Bengaluru 2.0?
Build for Bengaluru 2.0 is the second edition of a student-centric hackathon that brings together developers, designers, and innovators to solve challenges impacting Bengaluru’s future. The aim is to create tech-powered solutions that are smarter, sustainable, and more inclusive.
Whether you’re into software development, IoT, design thinking, healthcare tech, or sustainability solutions — this hackathon is made for you.
Tracks & Themes
Participants can work on projects under impactful themes such as:
Green-Tech & Sustainability
Healthcare & Well-Being
Agri-Tech & Food Systems
Civic Tech & Governance
These themes focus on real-world urban problems, giving you the chance to create solutions that matter.
Prizes & Recognition
Total Prize Pool: ₹70,000
Participants and winners will receive cash prizes rewarding innovation, execution, and potential impact.

Who can participate?
This hackathon is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students from any college or branch.
Team Size:
Create or join a team of 2 to 4 members. Cross-college teams are allowed and encouraged.
Registration Fee:
A ₹999 registration fee per team applies.
Facilities & Support
Food and refreshments will be provided throughout the hackathon.
Resting areas will also be available so you can recharge during the 24-hour build sprint.
No prior hackathon experience is required — beginners are welcome, and mentors will be available during the event!
