Artificial Intelligence used in daily life

To the large technology companies only AI matters, and it does not affect your life in any way. Conversely, Artificial Intelligence can be met by everyone throughout the day, starting from dawn to dusk. It is true that artificial intelligence is only being developed by the big players in tech, and that AI does not play any role in your life. The truth, however, is that most people experience artificial intelligence in their daily lives from morning to night.

1. Artificial Intelligence in Social media

Many people check out their social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more, to get updated on what happened overnight. Not only is artificial intelligence working behind the scenes to personalize what you see on your feeds but it also is identifying and filtering out fake news based on the activity you perform on the internet.

2. Google

Various search engines require support from any form of artificial intelligence in order to crawl through everything available on the Internet and get your desired items. You know that advertisements pop up every time you watch TV. This involves analyzing each site visited using collected data from previous searches so as to show-based ads that try to persuade you by showing what they think are things that really mean something.

3. Email or text message

Many people around the world send e-mail messages every day. Various tools like Grammarly are made available for individuals, thus enabling them to draft error-less messages. These computerized aiding tools make use of artificial intelligence and natural language processing. When recipients receive such an email, filtering mechanisms may either reject it as junk due to spamming classifications or place it in the inbox because the recipient prefers similar content. These filters usually rely on artificial intelligence mechanisms.

4. Digital voice assistants by AI

They are becoming indispensable co-pilots in our lives as they help us with directions to our lunch spots, weekend getaway weather inquiries, and more. Google Home and Cortana tools use natural language processing and AI-driven generators to return answers. This is one of the major achievements of Artificial Intelligence.

5.  Artificial Intelligence integrated Face ID

When your device gets unlocked using biometrics such as with face ID, it uses artificial intelligence to enable that functionality. It lights up your face and places 30,000 invisible infrared dots on it and captures an image. It then uses machine learning algorithms to compare the scan of your face with what it has stored about your face to determine if the person trying to unlock the phone is you or not.

6. Smart Gadgets

Several of us have smart devices that are able to note how we prefer our environment to be. It is evident that intelligent appliances will become even more popular than before. Amazon Alexa is one of the famous ones in the technological world.

From personalized recommendation systems to self-driving cars, AI is reshaping how we work, communicate, and interact with technology. Hence, we should be able to use it judiciously.
