Admission Process for Degree Engineering Colleges in Gujarat: Eligibility Criteria and Schedule Announced by ACPC

The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) has recently made a significant announcement regarding the commencement of admission for degree engineering colleges. With an impressive number of 68,800 seats available for candidates, the online and centralized admission process is set to begin from May 2 onwards. This year, the admission process includes new institutes like the Graduate School of Engineering and ASIA School of Engineering, which are affiliated with Gujarat Technological University and JG University, respectively.

According to an official from the ACPC, the available seats comprise of 11,411 seats in 16 government and three grant-in-aid colleges, 272 seats in one autonomous institute, and 57,727 seats in 116 self-financed institutes. Moreover, the admission committee has also announced a tentative admission schedule that adheres to the guidelines provided by the AICTE. However, the schedule is subject to change depending on the timely declaration of the JEE Advanced results.
