IIT Madras

Anna University
Anna University, established on September 4, 1978, operates as a unitary type of university and is named after the late Dr. C.N. Annadurai, a former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. SSN College of Engineering
SSN College of Engineering, also known as SSN, is a private engineering institution located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is an independent college affiliated with Anna University, established by Shiv Nadar. The National Board of Accreditation has awarded the college ISO 9001:2000 certification in recognition of its academic standards.

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology

Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology
Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology (LICET) is a private Catholic institution located in Chennai, India. The college offers engineering and technology courses and is accredited by AICTE and affiliated with Anna University. Its establishment in 2010 was a part of the Chennai Jesuit Mission’s efforts to uplift the underprivileged, including Dalits, through education.
LICET offers undergraduate courses in mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, electronics and communication engineering, computer science engineering, and information technology. The authorized intake for each course in 2015–16 was 60, except for mechanical engineering, which was 120.
Loyola-ICAM’s partnership with the Catholic Institute of Arts and Commerce (ICAM) in Lille, France, allows students to pursue a Master of Engineering degree programme. After completing their bachelor’s studies in India, Loyola-ICAM students can study in France for two years. Lille students, on the other hand, can complete their fifth year of study in India.

B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology
B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology is a private institution located in Vandalur, a neighbourhood in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It was previously known as B.S. Abdur Rahman University and functioned as Crescent Engineering College under the University of Madras from 1984 to 2001, and under Anna University from 2001 to 2009. The institution gained deemed status in 2008-2009. It is located in close proximity to Tambaram and directly across from Arignar Anna Zoological Park.
In the 2022 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology was ranked number 102 among engineering colleges in India and was placed in the range of 151-200 among all institutions.
Rajalakshmi Engineering College
Established in 1997, Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC) is a privately-owned engineering college located in Thandalam, Tamil Nadu, India, and was founded by the Rajalakshmi Educational Trust, Rajalakshmi Institutions. Accredited with an “A” grade by NAAC, REC has collaborated with approximately 15 international universities to promote academic growth and development. REC has been ranked 106th among all engineering colleges in India by NIRF, and it is also one of the top five engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College
